Luca is a Design Director at Studio Costa Architecture with over 8 years of experience in designing and managing architectural projects from masterplan to building design, with an expertise that ranges from Residential to Hospitality, Commercial and Affordable Housing (Social and Student Housing).
Thanks to his academic training and professional activity he is oriented towards a design that integrates the architectural language with the functional aspects of buildings, such as bioclimatic and energy.
Within his professional life he has dealt with several projects taking care of the architectural and technical aspects, following the entire design process up to the construction site, an approach that has involved a particular attention to the entire procedure, to ensure the client the complete integration between the initial requests, the budget and the respect of time.
Following architectural design competitions has developed a continuous research towards new approaches to architecture and its forms, from aesthetic to functional aspects.
Prior to Studio Costa Architecture, he worked as a freelance, developing his knowledge about Italian and international bureaucratic procedure, to control these aspects in the project and to give to the client the real timeline for the developing of the project.
As Design Director his role is to ensure that the design is executed on time and respecting the international quality standard requested by clients, managing consultants and internal team.
Furthermore, his responsibility is to improve the internal capabilities of the collaborators to ensure that the philosophy and the approach to the design is on line with the guidelines of Studio Costa Architecture, guarantying a completed satisfaction of the client’s expectations.
He is also in charge of Information Technology aspects and standard procedures, to improve the internal organization for the developing of the project and to ensure the continuous evolving of software capabilities to have a modern approach to the design and to use the most modern tools offered by the market, including all the aspects about the visual approach of the company.

MSc. in Architectural Engineering at La Sapienza University, Rome
Registered at the Italian Boards of Engineer
