Veronica Didier

Design Director

Veronica is Design Director at Studio Costa Architecture.
With over 20 years of experience in designing and managing a wide range of international projects, from Residential to Commercial design, Public Buildings, Cultural facilities, Hospitality, Educational and Landscape design in both private and public sectors.
She plays a significant role in SCA, managing large scale projects such as the international design competition of New Istat Headquarter, the Italian Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai, the Vilnius National Concert Hall, and relevant buildings commissions like Jumeirah Beach Club, the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery S.Andrea, Residenza Tarvisium.
After completing a Master’s Degree in Architecture at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, Veronica attended a one-year post-graduate course at “Ecole d’Architecture” Paris-La Seine.
Trained in Paris by renewed design office Architecture Studio, Veronica moved in New York to collaborate with Leeser Architecture in 2000 and back in Paris in 2001 where she joined the Massimilano Fuksas’ atelier in Paris as Chef de Projet.
In 2002 Veronica joined ABDR architecture studio in Rome where she was involved in the projects of the New TAV Station Tiburtina and the Line B1 Subway Stations.
Since 2006 Veronica works for Studio Costa, where first she acted as Senior Design Architect and Team Leader.
As a Design Director since 2015, she is responsible for design and coordination, managing external consultants and contractors and dealing directly with clients along with taking care of the Public Tender Department for Italy and Europe where, in the last years, she managed to win some of the largest public tenders such as Appia Regina Viarum devolpment.
She is also in charge of the Human Resources Department. From the scouting phase to the interview and then mentoring new collegues she contributes to develop and spread the SCA culture within the teams.
In the spare time she promotes educational projects curating workshops of architecture for primary school children.
